Custom Pet Portrait Workshop
What's a better way to show your love for your pet than by creating personalised jewellery of them? In this workshop, I will share a fun and effective way of capturing your pets unique features from their silhouette to facial gestures.
Bring a photo of your favourite fur kid / feathered friend / slinky scaly sidekick and lets immortalise them in jewellery!
Using the traditional metalsmithing techniques of mark making and metal texturing, you'll learn how to add pattern, hand saw, file, sand and polish your design to purrfection, bringing your pet jewellery to life.
The workshop will run for 3 hours and you'll be making 1 piece. You can choose to make a pair of earrings, a necklace, a key chain, a brooch, or cuff links.
If you would like to make additional pieces and time allows, extra metals can be purchased during the workshop.
Join us at Meekz HQ in my home studio in Lutwyche for a fun unmuzzled session of experimentation, shit - borking and bonding over our floofy, feathered or scaly friends. Bring a mate, bring a date. or come solo and meet some like-minded people.

- These workshops are for 16 years and above.
- Meekz provides tea & coffee facilities, guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy as well.
- Onsite Parking is available.
- Additional materials. Meekz provides everything you need to complete the task, additional materials that you may wish to use in class or to take home with you and continue your creative journey are available. Card & cash facilities.
